How to Pass 1st Level Accounting - 3 Critical Keys |
1st Level Accounting is a logic chain that you learn link by link. It IS NOT individual silos of information!
The entire chain is a perfectly rationale driver that creates financial statements. They tell you what's happened to your money, if you made any money, and if you have any money. In Accounting language this means that the financial statements communicate your financial position and the results of operations.
Understanding link 10 requires you to know link 9 and maybe links 3 and 7. If you miss classes, you will be missing the understanding of individual links.
Because understanding any particular link is dependent on understanding a previous link or links, missing classes can leave you baffled at the next class. Frustration follows; then an impenetrable wall of mystery.
KEY 1. Do your absolute best to attend every class.
KEY 2. Do not be shy. If you do not understand, ask questions.
KEY 3. Be sure you understand the Foundation Equation and Bookkeeping. The course is built on these.
SUGGESTION - Find a partner and do your homework together. It truly helps to talk about solving the problems.
